前後 - 建築 ( 改修 )

Quantum recently signed a contract with Bromag, a NJ based demolition company, to purchase and remove the complete electrical infrastructure from the previous BASF facility located in Mt Olive NJ. In its heyday, the facility boasted 3,000 employees, but when BASF moved their headquarters to East Hanover NJ, the 5 building campus sat vacant for almost 30 years. It is now being demolished to make way for a 600,000 SF distribution center. Scope for Quantum was 4 buildings to disconnect, rig, remove, and transport the bulk of the equipment back to out 200,000 SF warehouse. Amongst other challenges, the Quantum crew removed an 11,000 lbs. substation through the roof of the Penthouse.
